At Fields Behavioral Health, we believe in an individualized approach to client care. This can only be achieved within a small, tailored psychiatric practice. By keeping our client base small, our provider has the ability to facilitate the most customized and effective care. 

Our experience enables us to offer effective individualized outpatient psychiatric care. We treat individuals of all ages, who are in need of psychiatric care. We offer medication management, as well as individual and couples therapy modalities. 

At Fields Behavioral Health, we are always looking towards the future. Our innovative future goals include tele-psychiatry, so you can have your visit from work or home, online appointment booking, and group therapy

Alice Fields, M.D., Board Certified Psychiatrist

Dr. Fields is a psychiatrist native to Northern Virginia. Her practice, Fields Behavioral Health provides mental health services in Purcellville, Va. 

Dr. Fields obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from George Mason University, and her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She has completed her psychiatric residency training at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC. 

Dr. Fields has a background working with the military and veterans, including service as a civilian physician member of the Army Physical Evaluation Board.

How do I setup an appointment and what paperwork do I need to do?

 Fields Behavioral Health utilizes an electronic system for patient to access there information. In order to make a new patient appointment you will need to call our office at 540-554-1037 and set up a Patient Portal account. Our staff will create your account and send you a link to complete the final setup and create your password and user name. Once you are logged in you will need to complete the New Patient forms located in the documents folder on your Patient Portal account. Once these are all submitted the Patient Coordinator will review them to note any questions and give the staff a time frame to schedule the appointment for.  These forms are also available on this website to download and submit to the office if computer access is limited. If you use this option please notify the office staff when calling to start new patient process.

Fields Behavioral Health accepts Apple Pay, Google Pay, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash, and checks. There is a $50 charge for any return checks.
